In our first 2.5 months of the Kroger Card Campaign we spent $5,000 as a group, and we received our first 5% check for $259.00! During January we added more cardholders, and spent over $3,000 at Kroger’s. Our next 5% check will be for +$250 (arriving in March). As we continue to grow our base of card holders, our checks will start arriving monthly at a higher dollar value!

Here is how it works: All you have to do is put the money you are going to spend at Kroger on a gift card instead of using cash and Kroger will donate 5% of your spending amount straight to the shelter! Each gift card starts with $5.00 balance, and is refillable. You simply stop at the customer service counter or have the card "loaded" at the check-out before your order is processed.
