Give Your Bunny a CompanionRabbits thrive in pairs. They cuddle, groom and entertain each other. It's not much extra work for you because they will share space, food and litter. You'll rest easy knowing that they have the comfort of a companion.
|
We need consistent weekly volunteers to care for our bunnies, clean their pens, feed them (they'll love you) and groom them. We also need people to help with fundraising and numerous tasks that can be done from home.

Midwest Rabbit Rescue & Re-home is dependent upon people such as yourself to continue our work. We receive no funding from government agencies or humane societies. Without financial support from the public we will not be able to continue our work rescuing hundreds of rabbits each year. Please donate generously to help us continue to give abandoned pet rabbits in need a second chance for a full, happy life.
We are a 501(c)(3) public charity. All donations qualify as charitable deductions on your income taxes.
A Note On Our Operations During COVID-19
Midwest Rabbit Rescue thanks all of our supporters and wishes everyone to be safe. During this pandemic we are being inundated with emails from people that want to adopt. Adopting any animal should be a well-thought out and planned event. Rabbits can and should live 12-14 years, so this is a long term commitment that will outlast any Stay Home Order. Currently we have a skeleton crew of volunteers so please be patient as our response times are slower than normal. Adoptions, if any, are extremely limited during this crisis and we do not have a fostering program. You must have a complete/approved application and have an appointment to adopt. Thank you for your understanding. We are a no-kill rescue. We are operated entirely by volunteers. We are funded primarily by donations. |
